The day after the war on Gaza will be a “purely Palestinian day” and “guardianship” will not be accepted, Hamas representative in Lebanon, Ahmed Abdel Hadi, said yesterday.

Speaking during a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, Abdel Hadi said: “The movement is waging a strong political battle today through which it confirms the resistance’s conditions to stop the war and protects the achievements of the resistance and the sacrifices of the steadfast people.”

“The resistance has not been broken and is still presenting new images of steadfastness and valor in fighting the enemy.”

“Despite the intensity of the bombing and massacres, the enemy still has not achieved its goals of breaking the will of the Palestinian people and pushing them towards disengaging from resistance and accepting the displacement project,” he added.

The Iranian ambassador praised the efforts of the Hamas movement and the resistance factions, adding that he considers this battle a turning point in the history of the conflict, noting that the resistance proved in the battle that it is capable of defending the Palestinian people and causing great damage to the Zionist security and military system.
