Displaced Palestinians living in makeshift tents across Gaza are preparing for winter as Israel’s bombardments continue despite the agreed ceasefire.
Hyam Jundieh (46) said she had not received winter clothes for her children, as she fed crumpled pieces of paper into a small fire to warm her kettle in Gaza City.
In Al-Mawasi, Abu Mohammed al-Qarra (57) was forced to put his tent 20 metres from the seashore, where waves often reach the precarious shelters erected on the beach.
