An Iranian bridge has been split in two after airstrikes that Donald Trump has claimed were carried out by the US.

The president claimed responsibility for destroying the suspension bridge between Tehran and Karaj, the largest bridge in the country, a day after he threatened to bomb the country ‘back to the stone ages’ if a deal to end the five-week-long war he started was not reached.
