The director general of Gaza’s police department, Mahmoud Salah, and an aide were among at least 10 people killed in an airstrike on a tent camp in Al-Mawasi, in the southern Gaza Strip, the Hamas-run Al-Aqsa TV reported.
Al-Mawasi had been designated by Israel as a humanitarian safe zone.
