50,000 right-wing Jews desecrate Al-Aqsa Mosque

Middle East Monitor  /  September 26, 2022

Close to 47,988 right-wing Jews raided Al-Aqsa Mosque between September 2021 and September 2022, with the right-wing Temple Mount Administration saying this year was the busiest for Israelis storming Al-Aqsa in the apartheid state’s history, Sama news agency reported yesterday.

The Temple Mount Administration said this was a 65 per cent increase compared to the previous year. The Jewish New Year – Rosh Hashanah – was marked on Saturday; Jewish holidays see an increase in right-wing Jews raiding Al-Aqsa Mosque, with occupation forces limiting Palestinians’ access to the Muslim holy site.

In the past weeks, the so-called Temple Mount groups have called for Jews to increase their raids of Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holiday season.

On Sunday alone, Israeli occupation police escorted 332 Jewish settlers who raided Al-Aqsa Mosque and provoked Muslim worshippers.

Palestinian factions and religious institutions and figures have called for Muslims to increase their existence at Al-Aqsa Mosque as Israel imposes tight restrictions on their entry to make way for settler raids of the site in violation of international law.

Blowing Jewish trumpet at Al-Aqsa is ‘disrespectful’ of 1.7bn Muslims, official says

Middle East Monitor  /  September 26, 2022

The blowing of the Jewish trumpet at Al-Aqsa Mosque is “disrespectful” of the world’s 1.7 billion Muslims, Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib, deputy head of the Islamic Movement in Israel, said yesterday.

Warning against the right-wing Jewish mobilization against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the constant raids of the Muslim holy site during the Jewish holidays, Al-Khatib continued: “Al-Aqsa Mosque is at the eye of the storm.” He called on every Muslim to act to support it and to prevent the Jewish “desecration of the first Qibla of the 1.7 billion Muslims.”

He said Israeli politicians are using Al-Aqsa Mosque and efforts to relate right-wing Jewish access to it as part of their electoral campaigns, in an effort to garner votes.

The senior Arab leader in Israel emphasized that Al-Aqsa Mosque “is Islamic and only for Muslims and it will remain so for ever,” stressing the Jewish attempts to Judaize it “will never succeed.”
