The UN’s World Food Program (WFP) warned on Thursday that thousands of Palestinians in Gaza are facing severe hunger and malnutrition, with no aid entering the region for over three weeks.

The WFP highlighted that dwindling food supplies and Israel’s ongoing closure of border crossings are severely hindering aid efforts.

The organisation also stressed that Israel’s renewed attacks on Gaza have put civilians and humanitarian workers at greater risk.

This comes as 10 people, including women and children, were killed in predawn Israeli strikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis, following Israel’s violation of the Gaza ceasefire.

At least 30 people have been killed and 82 injured in the past 24 hours, according to hospitals in the devastated territory.
