Gallant admits Hannibal Directive

“In some places, an order was given for the Hannibal procedure, in other places it was not,” – Yoav Gallant on Channel 12.

Former Defense Minister confirms the use of the Hannibal Directive, which allows Israeli forces to fire upon Israelis to prevent them from becoming hostages.

Other statements by Gallant during his interview with Israeli Channel 12:

“Netanyahu was in a very gloomy and pessimistic mood in the first days of the war.”

“We could have completely cut off Hezbollah on October 11th, this is the biggest strategic miss in the history of the country,”

“We would eliminate Hezbollah leaders [referring to the pager operation], then eliminate the rocket and missile array, then blow up 15,000 radios and kill everyone holding them.”

“These are lies. There were warehouses with thousands of pagers already.”

In response to Netanyahu saying “We didn’t attack Hezbollah in the first week of the war because we had just brought 100 to 150 pagers,” on Channel 14.

They’re on separate channels, giving interviews and responding to one another.

“The killing of Nasrallah was my idea.” “In 2025, there is no goalkeeper in the Iranian goal. Now is the time to decide whether to kick Iran.

Israel has the ability to severely damage the Iranian nuclear program, but America has 50 times more capabilities.”
