The Global Sumud Flotilla reported that more than 200 activists were onboard the 20 boats intercepted by the Israeli military as of Thursday morning.

The flotilla, which carries mainly humanitarian aid and medical supplies, set sail from Barcelona at the end of August.
The boats were about 75 nautical miles off Gaza when the first interception occurred.
