TULKAREM – The Israeli occupation forces today continued their onslaught on Tulkarem camp, causing widespread destruction to its infrastructure and citizens’ properties.
The occupation forces sent more vehicles to the camp, imposed a tight siege and curfew, and banned citizens from moving, while firing bullets randomly, with the sounds of explosions heard inside the camp’s alleys.
The occupation’s heavy bulldozers are razing and destroying streets and infrastructure in the alleys of Al-Hamam, Al-Sawalma, Al-Rabaia, and Al-Balawneh.
The water, electricity, and communications networks were also damaged during this aggression, which led to their interruption and interference in the internet networks.
The head of the Popular Committee for Tulkarm Camp Services, Faisal Salama, described this aggression as barbaric, with the occupation destroying homes over the heads of their residents inside the camp.
He called on human rights institutions, international institutions, the International Red Cross, and the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East to assume their legal and humanitarian responsibilities, and urgently intervene to save the lives of refugees in the camp.
The child Muhammad Abdullah Muhammad Kanaan, 15, was killed and his father was injured by the occupation snipers’ bullets while they were returning to the camp at dawn today.
Last night, four civilians, including a volunteer paramedic, were injured in the bombing of a site in the Al-Hamam neighborhood in the camp by the occupation’s drones, and their injuries were described as moderate.
