As part of Palestine in Focus series, it will show the documentary Gaza Fights for Freedom from 2019, directed by Abby Martin.
This is an impressive documentary about the 2018-2019 Palestinian Great March of Return. The film (84 minutes, English subtitled) shows the resilience of the people in Gaza and contains shocking scenes of the violence committed by the Israeli military, and their targeting of paramedics and journalists, all put in the context of international law.
There will be opportunity to talk about the film afterwards, with drinks.
